Which colors should be ready to wear on the first day of spring in 2008? One of the hottest new women's fashion colors for the spring 2008 season that are a throwback to the 1920's, of course.

Which colors are forecasted to be popular in Spring 2008 women's fashion? One of the world's leading color forecasters, Pantone has released their Spring 2008 color trend forecasts for women's clothing. The colors are bright, lively and bold, like spring itself. Purchase a few new pieces in these hot Spring 2008 colors, and coordinate them with some more classic colors and separates you already own.

2008 Women's Fashion Color Meets 1920s Fashion Trends

On the first day of the glorious new season put away the black and the brown and head for the silver.

Silver Grey is a great neutral that will be spring's new black in women's fashion. The bright and lively colors for Spring 2008 pair well with a cool silver grey. Gone is the heaviness of black, with this light color that continues to find its way into fashion, home decor, and consumer goods.

Silver is an attractive hue for all women because it is reminiscent of the sleek past, in the days of train sleeper cars, and the Airstream RVs of the past, yet they feel new and technologically friendly. Silver also incorporates a natural element, of reflected water, springtime clouds, and as a natural hue found in the natural world, in everything from rocks to animal fur.

While black will never totally be gone from urban, and sophisticated women's clothing, it can be tastefully replaced when with a neutral silver for a light and carefree spring day.

1920s Fashion Trends: Snorkel Blue

On the bright end of things, look for the sea-happy bright blue with a hint of green, called Snorkel Blue in the Pantone color system. Spring 2008 designers incorporating this energetic blue include Anna Sui, Custo Barcelona and others.

1920s Fashion Trends: Rococco Red

Another near primary and bright color hue in the Spring 2008 women's fashion palette is Rococco Red. Rococco Red is a bright pink which everyone seems to be loving in the warmer seasons.

Great article. I found just what I was looking for. The new colors sound rather nice, however, most of them are for women that have "warm" undertones in skin color. Anyone with an "olive" complexion or "fake bakes" during the winter months could wear any of these colors, however, fair skinned people will more than likely look sallow. Thank you for the information.
