Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is an animated children’s television series. Each episode fills up a 30 minute television block. The show is occasionally divided into two different stories, but the 30 minute show is typically one story. Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends was created by Craig McCracken. He show follows the world of a group of children and their imaginary friends. The imaginary friends are created when the children imagine them. The imaginary friends, however, are left alone when the child becomes older because the child no longer believes in them. The imaginary friends, with nowhere else to turn to, are brought in by Madame Foster who has set up a foster home for them, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. Mac – He is eight years old and lives with his mother and brother. He is the problem solver on the show and always wants to fix situations that have gone wrong.
Madame Foster – She is the owner of the foster home. Although she is very old, she still has an imaginary friend of her own. She is quite the crazy old woman and is always playing pranks on other characters.
Frankie Foster – She is Madame Foster’s granddaughter. Her grandmother’s imaginary friend is constantly bossing her around to try and get her to do work around the foster home.
Terrence – He is Mac’s older brother. He makes fun of Mac all of the time as well as Mac’s imaginary friend.
