The Tragedy of Sean Taylor

Sean Taylor and I share the same birth year. A man my own age, only 24, was taken from this world far younger than anyone deserves. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through at a time like this. My sincerest thoughts are that I hope this was a random act of violence. I never thought I would say that, I'm someone who always wants to see a method to the madness in this world. In this case, however, I feel the worst case scenario is that this was some premeditated act, either for something Taylor did, or an ex friend who had a vendetta based out of jealousy.

No matter what the facts surrounding this horrible act turn out to be, the facts remain that Taylor had become a different man in the last year according to all accounts. Having a kid has that effect on a lot of men. The realization that another life is dependent on you has a way of waking you up and forcing you to finally become a man. I truly believe that is what happened to him, and it's a fact that makes this an even more senseless act. The person who loses out the most is his daughter. A girl who will now never get the chance to know her father.
