Are you thinking about trying some of the new organic soaps? Does the prospect of cleansing with a completely pure and

organic bar of soap send you to bubble heaven? Most of us agree that the overall concept of using organic soap is a noble

and reasonable one. Everyone wants to save the earth and make it a better place for us humans to inhabit, including using

"green and clean" products that matches that concept and makes us feel like we're all doing our part to help. But if you are
thinking about plunking down some considerable change for a bar of organic soap, here are some points to consider.

Soap and water go together like Jack and Jill, a horse and a carriage, salt and pepper and all the various and sundry

wordage one can think of. Obviously, without water, that bar of wondrous pure soap would just sit there in your bathroom

staring at you, unsullied, and with no conceivable purpose whatsoever. That being said, once water mixes with that bar of

expensive organic soap, the entire scenario changes. If you have city water, your water is likely to contain any number of

things common to city dwellers such as Chlorine, water softener salts, rust removers, minerals,Flouride and possibly very low

levels of arsenic and chemicals, naming a few common ones. These things are all commonplace in water systems across the

USA,in what are deemed safe and consumable levels.

So, this question may well remain unanswered. If that bar of soap you're using is pristine and organic, will it remain

just as pristine after your city water has mixed with it?
