Making a delicious, moist Christmas ham is easy with a little imagination and the right ingredients. In this article, I am going to tell you how to make a delicious, moist ham that you will get plenty of compliments.

Everyone likes the tradition of Christmas hams, but once in awhile, it is good to start a new tradition within your family. This year, why not try a ham that is basted with Pepsi or Coke, or a ham basted in pineapple juice. Trust me; you will have as much on creating these delicious moist hams as you will eating them.

To make a Pepsi or Coke ham, all you need is one can of your favorite soda and the ham. Go ahead and cut off some of the fat, which is on your ham, put in a small pan and cook it on the stove. Into this pan, you will dump a can of your favorite soda, and it does not matter whether it is Coke or Pepsi. Let this ham fat cook gently in the soda, and use it to baste your ham occasionally as your ham is baking in the oven. Depending on the size of the ham and the fat, you may need more then one can of the favorite soda.

Making a Christmas ham, which has been basted with pineapple juice, is quite tasty and easy to bake. It is the flavored juice that helps gave the Christmas ham a different flavor. To make this one on go ahead and grab a can of pineapple juice, and the slice off some of the fat from your ham, and put these two ingredients in a pan on the top of the stove and let them cook gently. You will use this pineapple juice and fat mixture to baste your ham.

Truthfully any liquid and that you can possibly think of it can be used to baste your Christmas ham. I have known people who faced their Christmas ham with Jack Daniels, a nice Rum, Vodka, as well as many types of alcohol. Although I have never tried this, I understand that the cooking process, takes out the alcohol in just leads though flavors within the Christmas ham.

It does not matter how you baste your Christmas ham, but by simply basting it, you can create a very nice moist ham, that your family and other guests will enjoy.

I love ham and don't care for it too fruity sweet but the soda idea sounds really good!
