15 tips for a cultivated and cared for new you.
1. Indulge in a rich decadent chocolate fudge cake and think not once about the dreaded "thigh effect".
2. Take a class that is not work-related but something you would fully enjoy. An art, a beginner's yoga or a French class. Something that is ultimately only for your soul.
3. A complete and full massage from head to toe. Don't worry about feeling embarrassed, this has now become essential for the new woman who wants it all.
4. Grab a romance novel, head for the beach or a shady park and feed your spirit. There's nothing quite like being transported into another world. Your mind will have no room to magnify stress. It'll be filled with faraway characters and exotic destinations.
5. Buy yourself something you usually don't wear but have always wanted to try. A sexy back-baring dress or a sexy nightie. Anything that reminds you of the gorgeous ultra-feminine woman that you are, then go out and show it off.
6. Rent a bunch of old movies from the 40's, such as "The Philadelphia Story" with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn or "Letter from an Unknown Woman" with Joan Fontaine and Louis Jourdan. Order yourself the best Chinese food and remind yourself of an era full of glamour.
7. Find out how valuable deep meditation can be for your soul. Make time for yourself to be alone with your thoughts and inner voice. This will be life-transforming.
8. Create a sanctuary that is only for you. A small space put aside for your complete privacy. A place with all of your favorite things and pictures. Feel surrounded by love.
9. Get back in touch with nature. A nature walk in a park you've never been will allow you to think and breathe more clearly. You'll be surprised at how much problem solving you'd actually accomplish when you experience the dirt beneath your feet.
