Blake Lewis was the runner up to Jordin Sparks on the sixth season of American Idol. Blake won over the audience with his genre-bending love of different musical genres and his beat box ability. On his debut album, Audio Day Dream (A.D.D.), Blake puts it all together on his quest to not be another American Idol failure. Will Blake Lewis be able to maintain his success? The first single off of Blake Lewis' (Audio Day Dream) (A.D.D.) is Break Anotha. The song is written by Lewis along with Sam Watters from Color Me Badd and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. The song was co-produced by Lewis and Tedder. The song is a mix between up-tempo and mid-tempo. The song has a little Justin Timberlake vibe. The song is fairly solid.
Know My Name is a very awkward sounding song featuring a collaborative effort between Lewis, Ryan Tedder and Josh Hoge. The song sounds like it is from a completely foreign planet. The song also features rapper Lupe Fiasco who delivers an interesting verse. The vocals on the track will remind some of Robin Thicke except when he journeys into his falsetto which sounds a great deal like Justin Timberlake. The song features Blake's trademark beat boxing.
What'cha Got 2 Lose is one of the better tracks on the album. The song is a collaboration between Lewis, J.R. Rotem and American Idol season 6 competitor Chris Richardson. The song features a great deal of beat boxing along with a very solid beat. The song is definitely one of the best songs on the album.
I Got U is one of the most commercially viable songs on the album. The song is another collaboration between Lewis and Ryan Tedder. The song is a very pop friendly song which is extremely catchy.
Gots To Get Her is one of the stronger tracks on the album. Yet again it is another collaboration between Lewis and Tedder. The song is one of the catchiest tracks on the whole album.
Without You is one of the few ballads on the album. The track is not even fully a ballad but it is definitely the closest thing on the album. The track is not one of the standout tracks however.
Here's My Hello is another very commercial friendly song. However the track is not one of the stronger tracks on the album.
