Ok folks, surprise, surprise, yes I too watch Fox News. Not so much for the "Fair and Balanced" coverage (Note: That's a joke), but for the unbelievable, unflinching, "Right Wing Spin" they insist on spewing. It (Fox News/Hannity/O'Reilly/Friends) never ceases to amaze me, this coming from a person with an actual brain and common sense. However, last nights Republican Debate review by "Hannity and Colmes" really takes the cake.

In his review of the Republican debate, Sean Hannity sounded more of a babbling conspiracy theorist than ever. To those of us with common sense it was laughable but to Sean Hannity it was anything but. He sounded more like "Alex Jones" than someone who actually works for a so called "Mainstream News Organization" (Note: I had a smile on my face when I typed that). He asserted that, just because a few of the You Tube inquirers had Democrat links or leanings that there was some vast conspiracy. A conspiracy perpetrated by the "Democratic Party" in general and "Hillary Clinton and CNN" in particular to make the Republicans look bad. He even called CNN the Clinton News Network. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are!

Hannity was almost hysterical in his review of the "Republican Debate," making all kinds of allegations. In Hannity's mind there was some vast conspiracy set up by the Democratic Party (read: Clinton) to ask questions of the Republican hopefuls to make them individually and collectively look ghastly, thereby, winning the election. In that case, if Hillary is as Influential and Smart as to orchestrate such a thing, I think we all should vote for her. Her vast conspiratorial prowess and all powerful mind control could influence the rest of the world (read: Muslims, Russians, E.U., North Korea, Venezuela and anyone else who doesn't agree with us) into believing that the U.S. is a benign influence with good intentions throughout the world. Mister Hannity, get a grip dude, you are just making yourself look like an idiot or is that your point...I'm confused!

Gosh Deez, you sound just like Sean Hannity. All of these conspiracy theories are great. I don't have to watch soap operas, I just read what you guys have to say.

Dude, I didn't watch Hannity & Colmes last nite. I was watching the Dallas-Green Bay game.

Jim, you couldn't tell by what Hannity was saying that only Pub's are accused of conspiracy's. I thought his head was going to explode. LOL

Dee, say what you will, but that retired General didn't just show up at that debate. What about the chick last week in and the planted question to Hillary? I won't go so far as to say a grand conspiracy, but c'mon Man. Now, do Rep. do it as well? Perhaps. Odd too. No matter what happens, any action by a Rep. is "intentional, with malice and to cheat someone, somewhere, somehow." But let a Dem do it, and, why, that's just coincidence. Anything more is an imagined issue from the Neo-Con Right-Wing conspiracy crowd. Don't ya just love a DOUBLE STANDARD? I know I do!

I can tolerate Colmes but Hannity is too self-righteous and full of crap to me. Since O'Reilly got hit with a lawsuit for his telephone sexual fetish he has backed off somewhat. The only person I can tolerate at Fox is Greta Van Sustern, who started out great but is getting flaky now. Fair and balanced, they say? I seriously doubt that. Good article.

I, too, find myself watching Fox News for the comedy, especially now with the writer's strike. But Hannity serves an important role: he makes sure everyone wears their little flag pins on their lapels. Great article.
