Proactiv: Top of the Line Solution for Stubborn Acne
No one likes dealing with acne. It can be irritating, embarrassing and even painful at times. With plenty of skin care products on the market choosing the right one can be overwhelming. One of the hottest products out there right now is Proactiv. You may have seen the commercials where they show the
dramatic improvement to people's skin after using this product. It seems to be the wonder remedy of skin care. Plus with spokespeople like Jessica Simpson and Kelly Clarkson its appeal grows even bigger. Even though it is not sold in stores and is available only through mail order, Proactiv has a following that is growing by the day. For tough acne this may be one solution.
In my experience Proactive had definite results. The starter kit cost $19.95 and came with the cleanser, toner and repairing lotion. To have this work correctly you are supposed to use it in the following manner. The first step is the cleanser. To me it felt rather gritty but it seemed to really clean my skin. It did not dry or peel like a mask but instead came off easily with a washcloth and water. After you have washed away the cleanser you need to apply the toner. This can be done by dabbing some of it on a cotton ball and then sweeping it all over your face. This was my favorite part of the process because my skin felt so smooth and clean afterwards. The final step in the process is to apply the repairing lotion to your face. The lotion also felt nice and did not sting or burn.
