Lexmark Survey Reveals What Technology Presents Are Hot This Holiday Season

The holiday shopping season is in full swing and one of the items that are always hot for the holidays are technological gifts. This year is no different, and a recent survey from Lexmark has revealed some of the hottest options this holiday season. The three big items this year in the techology category acccoring to a recent survey from Lexmark appear to be flat screen televisions, wireless printers, and camcorders. This information was released in a recent press release from Lexmark.

The survey included 1000 participants in the 18 through 65 year old age group that were computer users. 71 percent of this group were male, and 29 percent were female. The margin of error in the survey according to the press release is 3 percent. The participants in the survey were asked to list their top three technology products that they don't own at the current time but would like to.

61.8 percent of the respondents in the survey indicated they would like a wireless printer. 56.5 percent of the survey participants listed a flat screen television among their three most wanted items. Rounding out the top three, 45.1 percent of the survey members indicated they would like a camcorder. When having to choose the item they wanted most 52 percent chose the flat screen televisions, 41 percent chose the wireless printers, and 30 percent chose the camcorders.

84 percent of the survey participants said they would consider receiving a wireless all-in-one printer a great gift. 52 percent of the participants in the survey said they would consider giving a wireless all-in-one printer as a gift. Only 6 percent of the members of the survey indicated they already own a wireless all-in-one printer.

"Wireless printers are a gift that can be enjoyed by everyone in the home. You might want to start with terrific photo prints from your holiday gatherings," said Paul A. Rooke who is the executive vice president and of Lexmark, and president of the Consumer Printer Division.
