At a chat forum created to discuss Michel Desmarquet's book entitled The Thiaoouba Prophecy, a member shared the following theory:

When the human soul is in its highest, most evolved form, it is both male and female. But what about before that? It's only one gender or the other. I was thinking, perhaps at the VERY beginning, before ANY lifetimes, when a soul is created, it is both male and female. Then, in order to learn quicker as it grows, it is divided into seperate genders, and each one lives out their lives seperately, growing and evolving. Each "half" has enough of the soul to function as a seperate entity. When all the learning is complete, and it is time to move on to Thiaoouba or another level 9 planet, both halves of the completed soul "rejoin" into their true form.

If both halves meet in life, I would imagine that they would know there is some kind of connection between them....

[T]wo people in a couple need to have a spiritual affinity. I would guess that every "person" in the world has their own unique energy signature. But if what I'm saying is true, then this other half of the soul has the exact same signature, being the ONLY possible combination for you with a TRUE spiritual affinity.

Having visited the forum specifically to ponder the idea of soul mates (as I have been greatly struggling with the concept after reading the book and noticing no mention of "lovers" or even relationships on [the planet] Thiaoouba), the above theory prompted me to think deeply about the concept.

The beauty of the entire thread, which is quite long, is precisely our "Freedom of Choice." {Author's Note: I use the form our here to include every individual [with their own individual intellect], as described in a book of the quoted name, written by Dr. Tom Chalko.}

Upon reading the above quoted post, I immediately identified the theory as highly possible, more likely probable, at least for me.
