You've all probably have heard the saying "Sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite", this was more than a saying it is very much based on the truth. At the turn of the century people used to sleep on rope beads. The old beds had ropes to provide a good sleep. These ropes were tight to hold the mattresses. Well for a while it was uncommon to actually have bed bugs. Guess what, they are making a comeback. The common bed bug received its name from human bedding. They seek refuge in bedding because of the dark close quarters, during the day they hide at night they feed on humans. As sickening as it sounds, travelers are unaware of these bed bugs hitchhiking back from there trips. The chemical called malathion and DDT that was used to kill them has been taken off the market. Since in the 70's, now with more people traveling the infestation is growing rapidly. It seems in the bigger cities college dorms and many hotels are beginning to report them, not only cities have them the country folk do also.

Takeaways
  • High priced hotels, and air planes.
  • Try hot water and bleach.
  • Bed bugs bit you.
Did You Know?
They are not vampires just bugs.
