These days movies are being made out of everything: video games, comic books, movies and even cartoons. Of course making movies out of our favorite cartoons are not always a bad thing. A few of the cartoons turn out not to be too horrible and if the remake is horrible then we can at least count on the original cartoon coming out on DVD. Here are the best cartoon DVDs to add to your Christmas shopping list this holiday season.

The Simpsons Movie
The Simpsons has been an incredibly popular television shows for many years now but many agree that the show is not nearly as good as it used to be. However, when the Simpson movie came out earlier this year many agreed that it was a return to the greatness of the Simpson. If you know anybody that is a Simpsons fans then definitely add this to your Christmas shopping list this holiday season.

Underdog Volumes 1 - 3
This is one of those examples where the remake of the cartoon was probably hideous to the fans of the original show but on the bright side the original television show was put on DVD in the light of the remake. The Underdog is a classic cartoon from my childhood and this is a Christmas must for anybody that was a kid when the show originally aired.

Futurama Bender's Big Score
Family Guy saw a lot of success on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and was brought back to Fox. While Futurama isn't being brought back to Fox the show has also seen a lot of success on Adult Swim and they decided to make four straight to DVD movies. The first is called Futurama: Bender's Big Score. Bender's Big Score is said to have a ridiculous plot and many guest appearances from the original show. If you know anybody that is a Futurama fan then this is a must for your Christmas shopping list this holiday season.

Schoolhouse Rock
Schoolhouse Rock is a classic television show that is not only fun but educational. Schoolhouse Rock had songs that were fun to sing along but also taught kids about grammar, science, math and history. Now you can own all 46 songs on this 2 disc set. This is a must for anybody that watched Schoolhouse Rock growing up or for kids or somebody with kids.
