However, they do tend to pay more attention to the over all presentation, appearance and handwritten words added to the original card. This sounds very sinister and rude at a time of giving and sharing. But know this, it is not that your loved one doesn't care.
It is a more common trend in a world that people have repeatedly switched from paper to plastic in just about every faucet of society. It appears as though your greeting card has become a second class citizen. Given the previous statement, this is exactly what one would think, right? NOT TRUE.
Have you ever thought about the number of cards a person receives in a lifetime and who they will or have received them from? You may or may not realize it, but card giving has become a standard and one of the most customary things to do in the case of an upcoming event, holiday or even last minute gift giving.
Now, take a minute and think of how many repeats of cards you have received or how many people have received the same exact card that you did. As a final point of view, take into consideration how many times you or someone you know have purchased a card in a rush just to use as a holder for birthday cash to either mail out or take to a party.
Subconsciously, we go through this thought process each and every time we receive a card. Nonetheless, it would only make sense that doing something as little as putting a little extra time in writing a special message or poem would make the recipient go back and actually read the prewritten card. This affirms that you spent time looking for the card and really mean what is on it.
In comparison to a card with a "Sincerely, John Doe" written on it, this type of presentation makes the person truly feel good. This also makes your card more meaningful and appreciated. The favor will be returned or "passed forward" at the next celebrated event.
