Around the holidays, members of groups and organizations band together to give a gift as a group. But with so many options for gifts out there, how do you pick a gift that will make a lasting impression on the recipients? This holiday gift guide will detail several of the gift options your group can give this season.

Holiday Gift Ideas for Group Giving #1: Church Groups

If your Church group wants their holiday gift to make a lasting impression, then you should consider making a donation through a Charity to a third world county. There are many third world countries that are desperate for some extra help. If your group doesn't want to give a monetary gift, you could donate non perishable food items, clothing, or blankets.

Your Church group could do something locally such as giving food baskets, blankets and toys to needy families in the community or host a holiday meal event at the church that is free to the community. If your church has a religious private school, you could chose one student to sponsor so they could attend the church's school.

Holiday Gift Ideas for Group Giving#2: Fraternities and Sororities.

When most people think of Fraternities and Sororities , they think of young adults partying and drinking. This is often not the case though and to help break this stereotype, a wonderful group gift from a Fraternity or Sorority could be a donation to the Boys and Girls Club Charity. The Boys and Girls Clubs are located all over the United States and most cities and towns have a local branch that your Sorority or Fraternity could donate to, simply go to their web site to find a location near you. If you'd prefer not to donate a monetary gift to a charity, then consider buying kick balls, jump ropes and other athletic equipment for the kids to use. Kids need mentors, so your group could even donate their time to spend with the kids in the program.
