TiVo has greatly changed how many of us watch television. The technology allows us to watch television when we want for a small cost. Many of us ignore and do not complain about this cost because we enjoy the convenience that it gives us. The ability to not miss our favorite shows and to skip over what many of us consider annoying commercials seemed to good to pass out. As we know, TiVo has been around for a couple of years now. One complaint that a lot of people had is that the technology needed a serious update. The new TiVo system was recently released a few weeks ago. A newer system is in the works and there is going to be a serious added bonus this time around.

The TiVo company announced that it is going to allow their subscribers a couple of added bonuses with their new system and any of the current TiVo's out there. What the subscribers will receive is the ability to now access accounts with Photobucket and Google's Picasa via the broadband connection they are using. There is even an added bonus to those who have recently puchased the TiVo HD or Series3 system. Those individuals will be able to see any of their pics in HD resolution. TiVo has simply amazed us once again.

Computer users have always enjoyed the ability to use their Internet connections to access these sites. For those of us who may not know what Photobucket and Picasa are, they are two growing photo sharing sites. Individuals have the ability to upload their pictures to the websites servers to showcase their photos to friends or the rest of the Internet community. One issue that there is with TiVo announcing a partnership with those two sites is that they are defiantly not even close to being the respective leaders in that area of service. It would of been more amazing if TiVo was able to broker a deal with either Flickr or Kodak to access their online photo albums.
