The First Trillionaire Family

The Race is On!!!

I thought it would be a fun to predict the outcome of a "race" among today's top Billionaire families jockeying for position to be the first Trillion Aires, and how many years it will take to receive the title, "The Richest of the Rich." There is no surprise which family prances into the
Winner's Circle, but what generation (generation X) of this iconic family will actually "get there" and, how far behind are all the others?

To enter the best competition for the race, I used "Forbes" list of top 20 billionaires dated March, 2007.

The formula is simple, but the results are mind-staggering. I used yearly income averaging over their lifetime thus far to arrive at a top 20 list of generation "Xs". For my predictions, I rounded numbers. After all, when the numbers are this big, who cares about a few million bucks.

(Current world standings per Forbes article)

Here's how I'd place my bets:

To Win:

(1) Bill Gates III, generation "X" predicted for 2883.

To Place:

(3) Carlos Sim Helu, generation "X" predicted for 3283.

To Show:

(2) Warren Buffet, generation "X" predicted for 3383.

4th place honors goes to (5) Lakshmi Mittal. Generation "X" predicted for 3708.

5th place honors goes to (16) Roman Abramovich. Generation "X" predicted for 4058.

For 6th and 7th place there is a photo finish between:

(10) David Thomson and (7) Bernard Arnett. Generation "X" predicted for 4158.

Don't count these men out. Coming up from the rear are:

8th place (4) Ingvar Kamrud, generation "X" predicted for 4333. In 9th place is (14) Mukesh Ambani, generation "X" predicted for 4383, and in 10th place, (13) Prince Alwalweed bin Tal Alsaud, generation "X" is predicted for 4458.

I have little hope these deserving "jockeys" can come from behind, but they definitely have earned "Honorable Mentions"

11th place (18) Anil Anbani, generation "X" predicted for 4608.

12th place, (6) Sheldon Adelson, generation "X" predicted for 4633.

13th place (11) Lawerence Ellison, generation "X" predicted for 4758.

14th place (8) Amancio Ortega, generation "X" predicted for 4883.

15th place (19) Paul Allen, generation "X" predicted for 4993.

The Penny King became the worlds first trillionaire in April 2004 according to government records.

I read that in 1850 the Rothschilds were worth 6 billion the equivelant of 147 billion today. Probably a very conservatice figure and considering the increased wealth gap I wouldn't be surprised if there Trillionaires already.

Literati X is the only government recorded trillion in cash mob on Wall Street today. Whenever you see Warren Buffet ask him can he wrap his mind around that. And if that's not big enough for the Gods, I'll bring in my partners quadrillion and quintillion to the spectrum of realism to enforce my total principal element inside their make believe money society: yours truly, Black X { Psychotic-Series-Vocalist }. . .

Hi April, Thank you for your comment. There are plenty of Walton's (Wal-mart) inheritees that are in the "Billionaire's Club," but none of them were in the top 20...The richest one on the list I used was number 23. There's no doubt their fortunes will continue to grow, but so will the billionaires that are on the list, so I drew the line at 20.
