The St. Alban's Festival of Lights, St. Albans, WV: (14 Miles from Charleston, WV) The St. Alban's Festival of lights is held at St. Alban's City Park. This light festival usually opens on the 25th of November and runs until the 27th of December, being closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The festival serves hot cocoa and cookies, and your children can visit with Santa Clause. The festival of lights runs from 6-9pm each night that it is open. Admission is free, but donations in the form of money and canned goods are accepted.
Yuletide in the Park, Hurricane, WV: (26 Miles from Charleston, WV) Yuletide in the Park is held at Valley Park on Route 34 in Hurricane. It is held from November 30th until December 30th. The light show begins at 6pm and ends at 9pm each night. In addition to the light show, there are other activities on designated days, including a "Reindog" parade, church choir singing and live nativity. Winter Fest, Ripley, WV: (38 Miles from Charleston, WV) Winter Fest is located at the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, WV. This attraction features lights every night from November 20th until January 4th. In addition to the light show, the Cedar Lakes Conference center hosts breakfast with Santa as well as high school chorus. Viewing the Christmas lights is free of charge.
