Christmas Ornaments are a great way to decorate your front door for Christmas. You can use pre made ornaments sold in bulk to save a little money creating a custom front door decoration for Christmas!!


Frame Door

A cute way to decorate your front door for Christmas is to frame it with ornaments. If you have a wood door frame this should be no problem. I like to simple take a string of fishing line. Measure how tall and wide you door is and times that by 2. That is how long your string need to be..

Start stringing ornaments on the fishing line. Once full tie off the ends. You can use some of those temporary holiday decoration hooks in the top corners to hang your garland to frame the door.

Candy Cane

Try using red and white glass ball ornaments to make a candy cane on yoru front door for Christmas. You will need some nice thick 20 gauge wire and red and green glass ornaments.

Cut your wire into a piece that is four feet long. You will need three of these.

String alternating red ad white glass ornaments on each wire. Now, line them up and tie them together with floral wire. Blend then into the shape of a candy cane and hang on your front door!

Stripes

Try filling up your whole front door with Christmas colored stripes made from ornaments. Red and green glass ornaments can be hung on your front door in stripes using Same 20 gauge wire.

Cut them to the width of your door, plus a couple inches. String all one color on each string. Now, install those simple temporary holiday hooks on the door in rows up and down the right and left side. Tie the strings of ornaments to the hooks.

Wreath

Try using all green glass Christmas ornaments string on 20 gauge wire. Now, tie this into a wreath shape. Add a red bow and hang on your front door!

This one can be customized in any Christmas colors you want. Try white ornaments with a red ribbon for a fun and modern twist! You will love it.

Present

Finally, cover the whole front door in ornaments in one color, like green! Hang this like you hung the stripes. Now, use red ribbon, that outdoor velvet kind ad create two crossing lines on the front, like a present. Add a bow where the ribbon crosses and you are finished!
