So callus, I had become in my quest to be strong.
At times, I would exceed my own expectations,
in my practice to feel nothing.

So numb, I was.
My broken heart had refused the circulation
loves poison to flow through my veins.

I was content
in my state of rigamortus,
until you breathed life back into me.

Oh how I wish you'd have just left me numb
because feeling nothing was far better than
this feeling of suffocating in your absence.
