Stress can take a toll on our bodies. One of the effects of stress is bad breath and body odor. These odors are more prevalent during times of stress, but stress isn't the only cause of body odor. We can find ways to eliminate bad breath and body odor through diet, aroma therapy, and body scents. Here is a guide to reducing odors, choosing a body scent or aroma, and finding a way to make the scent and aroma more effective.

What is the secret behind choosing a body scent or aroma during periods of stress? Its choosing a scent that is strong enough for a man and a woman. This may seem like a difficult task because men and woman have different tastes in scents. For instance, freesia may smell great to a man, but he may not want to wear a scent that has a feminine aroma. It is hard enough to find different scents for work and play, but do we need another one for difficult or stressful times?

Each aroma has unique properties that create a state of mind. Choosing a scent, body spray, or deodorant is a personal choice and sometimes these choices reflect and define our personality, behaviors, and moods. During a stressful period, an additional scent in the medicine cabinet or cosmetic case can cure the most stressful situations, but what scents are good for a stressful time and how do we ensure a cure for the trauma our bodies and minds are going through?

Natural aromas like lavender, freesia, lily, powder, and rose are great for women. Aromas like ylang-ylang, lemon, lime, and citrus are great for men. Any aroma from the mint species is excellent for both men and women.

Soaking in Dead Sea salts or Epsom salt extract toxins out of the body and make any deodorant, or body scents more effective. Stress causes the body to odor as toxins build up from stress hormones. Bath salts extract many of the toxins, reducing or eliminating body and breath odors.
