Another one of my fabulous freebies that I thought would be worth the non-effort that I put into receiving it, so I could try out yet another product. K-Y® Intrigue™ Premium Personal Lubricant has officially been added to my list of items that found their way into the trash, never to be purchased by me under any circumstances.

This freebie came in the mail months ago, literally. I can't even remember when it came in, but it must have been somewhere over the summer since it was sitting in my box of collected junk that rests on the glass table on my porch. And I haven't stuffed anything new into it since the end of the summer season, so that's the origin of my guess. With a pretty metallic purple outer covering made of light cardboard, the description on the back boasts that this product will deliver an "Ultra Long Lasting Luxurious, Smooth Feel". Guaranteed to "Tempt. Tantalize. Mesmerize." The research panel who thought that junk up obviously did not try the product, at all.

Before getting around to finally using it, my husband decided to check out the website, kyintrigue.com. They offered a video, more like an advertisement, to promote their product. Low lighting, a couple who can't keep their hands off each other, and all of it caused by this amazing product. The video shows what is supposed to be a span over an entire night time, with the couple continuously reaching for each other. I can guarantee that this product wasn't being used by them, it would have dampened their spirit quite quickly.

The product itself was nothing that the packaging spewed forth. My husband deemed that he should be the lucky one to try it out, and once applied, his hand was sticking to the applied area, instead of the smooth feel that the product claimed. It quickly made its way off his skin, and into the trash. He isn't one to dismiss new things so quickly, but he couldn't stand the sensation of stickiness that this product left behind. So much for the smooth feel that it bragged about, we never did find out if it was "ultra long lasting" but we certainly found out that it was nowhere near "luxurious".
