Simple Diet Changes: Switch to Sea Salt, Rice & Whole Grain Flour

If you are reading this, know that I am right there with you. I am dealing with the same weight-loss, dieting and health issues you find yourself confronting. I know how difficult making lifestyle changes can be when it relates to food. Giving up whole food groups, types, individual comfort favorites, etc. leaves many of us desperate for practical solutions.

Having found a diet that really works (given to me by my doctor), I learned how certain small things made huge differences. I am currently off the diet my doctor gave me because its just too hard to live with, but since I know it works, I will be going back on it after the holidays. Regardless, there are a few things I have managed to do that require no hardship on my part. These are things that anyone can do to change their dieting lifestyle because they are things we all can live with.

Simple Dieting Lifestyle Changes You Can Live With:

Switch to Sea Salt

One of the easiest things to do is to make the switch to sea salt. The next time you go to the grocery store, pick up a box of sea salt. When you get home, throw out all the regular salt you have in your kitchen. When you pour the salt out of your shakers, replace it with the sea salt you've just purchased. By doing this, you've made a lifestyle change with lasting health benefits and you didn't even have to do all that much.

Since you will still be using salt, switching types is not going to cause you withdrawal symptoms. There is no "cutting back" involved. Making this change does not cause you any discomfort whatsoever, thus, it is something that will go unnoticed by the rest of your family. Well, except for those compliments on your cooking as sea salt is known to enhance foods' flavors much better.

Everyone's talking about all the wonderful health benefits of switching to sea salt but if you have not tried sea salt, you probably wonder about the taste. It is much better. After staying at my daughter's house where she uses sea salt instead of regular salt, I could not believe I'd lived all these years without it!
