You may have heard the stories of how someone poor managed to take care of their children by making some extra cash being their own boss. They didn't have to go out and sell drugs or their body, rob someone or even worse kill someone. They just took the time to think of a way to make some money so that they didn't have to lose their residence, go without food or miss a Christmas holiday.

People from all types of backgrounds are making money in all sorts of ways and those ideas are being listed in this article. How you start up your business has been left up to you. These very basic and quick opportunities were selected because they have little or no start-up costs (when you already have the equipment) and are very simple to begin. If you are a parent, some of these ideas would be good for a teenager who is just entering the work force and may not want a job at the local fast food restaurant, encourage him or her to invest in their own business. Remember if your business becomes profitable, you are responsible for paying any necessary taxes or licenses associated with these ideas.
