For over 25 years most mornings I have gotten up and made a chocolate milkshake for breakfast. My father and most of my family are over weight. I have never been over weight I seldom get sick and have plenty of energy for being 50. Over the years I have added many different products to the milk shakes. Mostly nutritional enhancement products. Probably my favorite would be products that contain phytoplankton green stuff that most people do not get enough of that are full on natural vitamins and lots of minerals. For those who do not want to drink milk there is always alternatives. Soy milk, rice milk and almond milks to name a few. If you would prefer not to use ice cream in your shake you could use yogurt,frozen bananas work good to thicken up the shake and give it some fiber.

Some people, nutritionists for example might say you are eating to much sugar in a milk shake. Ok good point! But heres the secret I found out from years of drinking milkshakes almost daily. If you put almost any kind of supplemental nutrition in it or even if you take conventional vitamins with your shake in the morning. You will not crave as much during the day for sweets for food that may not be that good for you. You will be full and satisfied. I am not saying your cravings will completely vanish like magic but I am saying you will feel full and not want to eat as much. Make having a shake a habit. If I miss it n the morning I sometimes have it with lunch. I can eat as much for lunch, it seems that my body uses the milkshake easier than the regular food and I have more energy than if I would just had a conventional lunch. The powers I like to use are not weight gain formulas they are normally muscle building formulas that come in different flavors. I prefer the ones that taste good and mix well. it seems I have tried 100s of different brands over the years. Heres my simple recipe I use to maintain my weight. If I want to lose weight which is seldom I use the milkshake as a meal replacement for one meal a day.

Milk 8 -12 oz
Chocolate Ice Cream 1 Scoop
Peanut butter- 1 table spoon
Protein Power 1 oz
