After having troubled times with the Ciusinart waffle maker I was in search of a decent baker that can make crunchy waffles just like the one that my grandmother used to prepare for Christmas. I once saw the Black &Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker at my friends place and was toying an idea to purchase that after consulting with my cook brother in law. When he was ok with my choice then there was no need for a second opinion and now I am happy that finally I could get something good at an affordable rate.

Can you believe that this 3 in 1 piece comes for just $39? This can be used as a waffle maker, grill and a griddle. Each one of these are as functional as stand alone units are not clubbed in to one product for name sake. This is a great space saver especially if your kitchen is small because requires very less counter space. This one piece is enough to replace three separate kitchen gadgets and it can be placed in a vertical position against the wall.

This comes with two 8 sq. inch cooking plates that make it functionally superior to other grills. You can make 2 pancakes or sandwiches simultaneously and spend more time with the family on the dining table rather than in kitchen. This can bake 4 waffles at a time and the top and bottom plates can be adjusted to convert it readily into a grill. This is built strong and can withstand any amount of use. It is not like the cheap plastic waffle makers that break after few applications. Remember that the body is built of chrome and gets heated up fast. So handle it carefully and it is not advisable for small kids to use like the plastic waffle makers. It is the chrome construction that makes it strong.
