Almost all the organizations now believe that MIS has evolved as an important tool for managing the functioning of the organization. The decreasing cost of hardware and development of technology has boosted the inclination of the organization to IT. However, despite their willingness to have proper IS implementation, the failures of IT projects has been a cause of concern.
It has been seen that many MIS projects are abandoned mid-way due to improper understanding of users¡¦ requirements. The nature of processes in the organization is becoming complex. So, the organization needs to plan and work for developing an acceptable framework for acquisition of IT in proper fashion.
