Cooping with Parkinson's Disease
Parkinson's disease have a close relative with these symptoms.
: Shaking or tremors, in hands, arms, legs and neck.
: Slowness in movement.
: Stiffness of the limbs and trunk.
: Poor Balance and coordination.
When this runs its course Parkinson's can cripple or disable, many don't heed the warning signs. As you age you really notice all of these symptoms. Their speech gets soft and their a little shaky. As time moves on their symptoms lead also to anxiety, depression and trouble swallowing and chewing. Others may have trouble at night trying to fall asleep. There is still no cure of Parkinson's disease, but they have medications out for them to take. My mother has this PD and she is on Symmetrell, she has been for over 20 years. But hers is in a slow progressing stage. Unlike Michael J. Fox the actor, his has progressed more rapidly. Doctors have tried transplanting nerve cells in the brain to produce dopamine, but either the medicine or this surgery stops completely Parkinson's disease.
