Mike Huckabee is Chuck Norris Approved!

Chuck Norris is nothing short of an Internet phenomenon. How and why this happened is anyones guess. The big question is if Chuck Norris can influence enough people to make Mike Huckabee a contender for the upcoming elections. Everyone has heard of Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama but many average Joe's can't name anything relevant about Mike Huckabee. Let's take a look at Mike Huckabee and Chuck Norris and see what they are all about.

Mike Huckabee

Michael Dale "Mike" Huckabee was born on August 24, 1955. He is most known as the former Governor of Arkansas who won very high praise while in office. Hmm..That sounds a little familiar. Mike Huckabee is also an author and ordained Southern Baptist minister. Being a minister should give him an edge with the religious voters who are extremely numerous. Mike Huckabee is against: Same sex marriage, gun control and abortion. He supports: the death penalty, the war in Iraq, and allowing illegal immigrants to become citizens a little bit easier than they can now.

What does this mean to me and you? Well, personally I feel religion has no place in government and an ordained minister taking office is a little scary to me. Mike Huckabee supports creationism and doesn't believe in evolution. He thinks schools should teach both and let the children decide. I won't get into the religious aspects of Mike Huckabee but if used improperly, his religious influence could be very hard to handle.

Mike Huckabee is currently tied in first place among Republicans.

Chuck Norris

Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris was born on March 10, 1940. He is best known for his ability to kick ass and take names. He trained with Bruce Lee and was in the movie "Return of the Dragon" as the villain. Of course most people know him from Walker: Texas Ranger. An hour long show that ran for 8 years and is still shown as reruns on a couple channels. Not the best show but it was ok.

Chuck Norris is a conservative and has demonstrated his support for the Republican party on many occasions. Chuck Norris has also donated over $30,000 to various Republican candidates.

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of animals Chuck Norris allows to live.
