"It Starts with a Gift"...is the tag statement of Prison Fellowship's ministry Angel Tree. For the fourth consecutive year Bishop Rick Hawkins and Family Praise Center of San Antonio, TX are partnering with Angel Tree.

Angel Tree's purpose is to reach children of prison inmates across the nation. An estimated 2.3 million children have a mom or dad in prison. Statistics show that a child with a parent in prison is six times more likely to end up in prison as well. There is a tremendous opportunity to have a positive impact on an entire generation.

Bishop Hawkins and Family Praise Center church have committed once again this year to support Angel Tree's efforts to reach the San Antonio area children. Just like the wise men brought gifts to the child Christ, church leadership, members and partners will be bringing gifts this year to reach a child. A life reached is a world changed, and so, maybe, it truly does "start with a gift".
