Are you tired of the same old New Years Eve party games, food, favors, and activities year after year? Instead of playing darts or cards this year, and instead of buying ready made party favors, consider the following unique ideas for New Years Eve party games, favors, food, and activities. I have a New Years Eve party for my family and friends every year, and this year we're going to be doing something different. Unique party games, activities, favors, and food will make your celebration one to remember!

Fondue

Instead of the usual chicken wings and barbeque sandwiches that take a lot of time and effort, how about a having a fondue for New Years Eve? I don't like spending all of my time in the kitchen, and a fondue is a fantastic alternative. Fondues were very popular in the 70's, and it's no wonder why. Fondues are fun and unique, and New Years Eve is the perfect time to enjoy a fondue meal. This is one of the best ideas for a party since it's very easy for the host or hostess and exceptionally delicious. Best of all you can offer something to please every taste and preference.

Fill your fondue pot with your favorite cheese mixture, and provide a platter of various breads for dipping along with other New Years Eve favorites. Better yet, fill the pot with peanut oil, and provide a large platter of cubed meats, fresh mushrooms, and any other fondue foods that can be deep fried at your New Years Eve party. Guests will love it, especially those who have never experienced a tasty fondue!

Fortune Cookies

I love fortune cookies, and homemade fortune cookies are unique and even better than the prepackaged restaurant varieties. One New Years Eve several years ago I made a batch of fortune cookies and filled them with unique and funny fortunes. I loved coming up with the fortunes, and I was surprised by how good they turned out. They looked like genuine fortune cookies! My fortune cookies were the hit of the party, and now I make a batch every year around the holidays.
