I had been using the Kitchenaid food processor that some one gifted us on our marriage and I was looking out for an excuse to replace the bulky stuff. Somehow the motor got stuck this morning and it was refusing to budge. We decided to go for a better model that will fit our budget as well as the small kitchen. After going through a lot of models from different brand we finally settled for the Braun MR430HC/AC Multiquik Hand Blender and Chopper. I have grown up seeing my mother using Braun blender in kitchen ever since my childhood and so I knew this will last a life long. I was so elated to see that this particular model has undergone a lot of useful modification in terms of design to make it user friendly. I am glad that we made a right choice. This set comes with a blender, chopper, whisk, beaker and a bowl. It is no doubt a steal at just $24 and if you go out and purchase each of these units individually you spend out much more than this. It came as a pleasant surprise when my husband told me that it is wall mountable. Though it is dish washable I prefer washing using hands. After the use just hang it on the wall and there is no issue of any counter space or misplacing the small units.
I have been using it everyday for the past 6 months and in course of time it has become my trusted kitchen aid. I use it for blending smoothies, soups, making fresh fruit juices; whipping cream, egg white, cake dough; chopping onions, garlic, celery, coriander, spinach, herbs and nuts. This is basically an improved version of their earlier model with the same commitment to superior quality product. In this model the shaft is connected straight to the motor enhancing the efficiency and you can detachable stalk facilitates in removing the blade and cleaning them without any fear of water getting into the motor.
