I Still Love and Miss You

It has been 16 months today,
Since God suddenly took you away,
My love for you is no less now than it was then,
And the wound in my heart still remains open.

I try to live my life as I know you would want me to,
Even though, my world no longer has you.
I try to get out and have some fun,
But it is so hard when there is only one.

Although my life is moving on,
There are so many times I wish you were not gone.
Since wishes rarely come true,
I must get on with my life without you.

There is a man that I now date,
He is only a friend and not a future mate.
You spoiled and ruined me for other men,
I do not want one with your looks, only your personality and one to spoil me again.

Someday one may come along,
