This article I will explain to you, how you can make your own wreath ornament out of soda can tabs. What are soda can tabs, you say? Soda can tabs are the silver tabs that are on the tops of the soda cans. You can also use the tabs that are on the pull tabs of vegetables or other cans when making this project.

This craft project will also help you in your recycling quest by using the pop tabs and decorating them that will turn them into a nice ornament. The soda tab or vegetable tab Christmas ornament can be classified as an overall easy project to accomplish. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being easy and 10 being the hardest, I would rate this ornament craft project as a 2. This would be a great craft project to do with your child or scout troop.

The soda can tab craft ornament is a very inexpensive craft ornament to make. The whole basis of this craft ornament project is that you will be using the tabs off of the soda or vegetable cans that you already have at your home. This makes the soda can tab ornament craft project a very inexpensive project to do.

You can add different things to your soda can tab ornament to personalize it. Some of the things that you could add to your soda can ornament would be: paint, gems or jewels, glitter, or ribbons. This article is going to show you how to make a basic soda can tab ornament with some bows.

You will need the following things to completely make the soda can bottle tab wreath ornament: soda can bottle tabs (you will need at least 10 per ornament, sometimes you may need more, sometimes less, it all depends on how big you want your wreath), a little bit of ribbon to make a loop to hang on ,old flat cookie pan (you may not be able to use again after this), hot glue and a hot glue gun (you can use regular glue, but it will take awhile for it to set and harden). If you decided to decorate them you will need gems or jewels, glitter, bows,or ribbons. Whatever you wish to use to decorate them is actually fine.

Once you have gathered the needed items proceed on to Step One:
