Billy Joel Tickets on Sale This Saturday, Denver Performance

Billy Joel is set to perform at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on February 28, 2008 at 8pm. Tickets for this performance will go on sale this Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 10am.

Billy Joel is currently on tour and is set to perform in Denver, Colorado on Thursday February 28, 2008. Tickets for this concert will go on sale at all Ticket Master locations on Saturday December 8, 2007 at 10am. Tickets for this performance may also be purchased at the Pepsi Center Box Office, select FYE stores, select Macy's stores, Angelo's CD & More, and the Official Visitors Center. Additionally, tickets will be available for The Stranger, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for the song, "Just the Way You Are."

52^nd Street became Joel's first number one album in 1978. Additionally, his next album Glass House spent a total of six weeks at number one on the Billboard charts in 1980.

More recently, Billy Joel began a tour in 2006, featuring songs from throughout his career. Joel made music history with this tour, according to the Pepsi Center's press release. For instance, over the duration of several months, Joel performed 12 sold-out shows in New York's Madison Square Garden. He also had his record-breaking 6^th sold-out show at Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. Additionally, he made his 22^nd lifetime performance at the Hartford Civic Center, located in Connecticut. During this 2006 tour, Joel performed for over 750,000 individuals in Australia, South Africa, Japan, North America, and Europe, according to the Pepsi Center.

Billy Joel has won numerous awards including being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992, being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, and being inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2006.

Billy Joel will perform in Denver, Colorado on Thursday February 28, 2008 at 8pm at the Pepsi Center. Tickets for this performance will go on sale this Saturday, December 8^th.
