Sea bears of the North is really called polar bears; they are descendents of the big brown bears. I have read where a number of brown bears were stranded on a glacier. Instead of dying out they started changing to their surroundings, so they could survive years on the ice. So much, so that there change was good and their fur adapted to the cold weather. They are named polar bears now because they are in the Polar Regions. This includes the United States, Russia, and Greenland, also Canada. The polar bears love the area where the northern seas meet together. In this area ice freezes and thaws all of the time, the ice constantly changes. The seals also love this area and they become lunch for the polar bears. The polar bears sense of smell is 100 times ours, also you can spot a polar bear by his black nose with binoculars over 6 miles. They have 42 teeth and a flat and small tail, with wide paws in front like web to help them swim.
