Holidays are always fun to celebrate, but why wait a few months for the next major one to arrive when you could be enjoying a national food holiday everyday? This article includes the national food holidays for March and suggestions on how to celebrate them.

National Peanut Butter Lover's Day March 1: This has to be the greatest national food holiday of the year, or at least of March. On this day, why not enjoy some peanut butter fudge or peanut butter cookies?

National Banana Creme Pie Day March 2: While it still may be a bit chilly during the first part of March, why not enjoy a tropical piece of banana crème pie? If you wanted to make this dessert more tropical you could also add coconut.

National Cold Cuts Day March 3: This national food holiday is perfect for an evening when you're too tired to cook. Just stop by the deli and pick up all your favorite cold cuts and cheese. Then stop by the bakery and get a delicious loaf of your favorite bread.

National Pound Cake Day March 4: March is filled with delicious food holidays, but what could be more delicious than a piece of pound cake served with sliced strawberries and whipped cream?

National Cheese Doodle Day March 5: This national food holiday is really easy to celebrate. Just grab your favorite brand of cheese doodles and crash in front of the TV.

National White Chocolate Cheesecake Day March 6
: This is another national food holiday sure to please. Just prepare your favorite white chocolate cheesecake, but add a unique topping like hot fudge sauce and strawberries. You could call it chocolate covered strawberry cheesecake.

National Crown Roast of Pork Day March 7: March 7th is certainly a more sophisticated food holiday. Prepare a crown roast of pork and serve it will side dishes you would normally reserve for special holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving.

National Peanut Cluster Day March 8: Sure you can go out and buy peanut clusters, but where's the fun in that? Instead, make them from scratch. Just lay out some peanuts on a non-stick cookie sheet and top with melted caramel and chocolate. Allow to cool and then break apart.

Whoever created all these food holidays ought to seriously consider a mental health evaluation.... but seriously, my bigger concern is how can you find the time to think about MARCH? I am having enough difficulty dealing with December!
