The Organic Flax Plus Multibran Cereal from the Nature's Path is a wholesome diet that can be savored by people across all ages. Being an organic food with least amount of processing I expected this to have a typical paper like taste. But surprisingly this tastes good and probably this is the first time I am having tasty cereal just as I read in the reviews. You do not get healthy food with appetizing taste and flavor every day because that combination is hard to hit. This is a classic example to show that even healthy foods can me made yummy. I would like to tell you that it is not as scrumptious as the sugar coated chocolate flavored cereals. It is just that in spite of being made from cereals it has a special palatable taste.

This is 100% organic cereal made with a combination of whole cereals like the Wheat flour, Wheat bran, Oat bran, Rice extract and Barley malt along with the Flaxseeds. The Flaxseeds make the cereals wholesome and nourishing by their unique health benefits. It is the nutty flavor of the Flax seeds that strike a balance to the strong presence of cereals and wheat. The texture is also amazing because of the different type of cereals. They are crispy and crunchy and stay fresh for long. It was a pleasant surprise to observe that they do not become soggy in milk. They get softened in two minutes and still remain in shape.

This can be had at any part of the day with milk or curd. I like to have it along with freshly chopped fruits, nuts and berries to make it more filling. You can also have it straight from the packet in the dry crisp form. This is a real blessing for the health conscious people and those who are on restricted diet because it is low in calorie and fat. Not only that the amount of sodium is also less. It is a good source of fiber and protein. In elderly people it eases the bowel movement.
