It's that time of year again! Time for celebrations, family gatherings, and packages of joy! Time to go skiing, time to go snowboarding, and time to sled ride in the snow.

Uh-oh. It's also time to shovel snow. It's time to walk outside to work in the morning and see the frost on your car, freezing for the first ten minutes of your drive while you wait for the heat to kick in. It's time for realizing you don't have your boots with you when you get off work to find that three inches of snow fell on the ground and your feet get wet in your shoes before you even drive home.

This all leads to.... the winter cold and flu season. What a drag! So, besides dressing warm, getting enough rest and exercising to stay healthy, what are you going to do to make it through this season with the least discomfort?

I have compiled ten must-have products for the cold and flu season. Some will help prevent the cold, some will help soothe the cold, and some will help you get back to normal more quickly!

1. Halls Pro Health Defense. I love this new product. Prevention in my book is the best medicine, so it's best to keep yourself from ever getting that cold or flu. This product contains many ingredients that help to boost the immune system, such as Vitamin C, Zinc, green tea, and Echinacea.

2. Orange Juice. Vitamin C for me tends to be one of the best defenses to prevent getting the cold or flu. Drinking a glass of orange juice daily can do wonders at buiding your immune support system and keeping it strong. My personal favorite orange juice beverage is a product called Michel Bodyguard, and it's made by Rivella. The only problem is that if you live in the United States, you can't get it. It is only sold in Europe, mainly in Switzerland and some places in Germany that I know of so far. I drank it nonstop on my trip to Switzerland last year. It contains Vitamins A, C, E and orange and mango juices. Any kind of orange juice will work, however.
