With Christmas coming what a great way to spend your holiday by spending it with your friends and family. We all love this time of year to eat, be merry, and to sit around singing Christmas songs, so why not spend this special holiday by having yourself a Christmas block party. This will allow you to have a great time with your family especially if you have children, get to know your neighbors better, and just a great way to kick back and relax, instead of being so stressed out on the holidays. I know a lot of people have Christmas parties for their job they work for, but this is such a better way of celebrating and you don't have to worry about spending a fortune or having to buy a new outfit or whatever the case maybe. Sometimes people even have to pay for tickets to go to their work party, which can cost you a pretty penny depending on where it's being held. Here is a few ways to prepare for a spectacular Christmas block party:1. First thing to do is write out a list of all the names of the neighbors on your block. This way it will help you figure out about how many people will be attending. Then you can create your own Christmas invitations on the computer and print them out. If you don't have a computer or a printer then you can gather up some plain white paper, some crayons or markers, and make them yourself. You don't have to be a artist to create them either, because sometimes to me the more scribble there is on them the better they look. Almost like when your child brings home their first piece of art work from daycare. You have no idea what the picture is suppose to be, but at the same time you are so touched, because it was not only made by your child it was made from the heart. Great part about having this block party you don't have to waste money on postage either, you can walk to each mailbox and place them in, or you can just hand them to each of your neighbors. That way if your neighbor has any questions about the party you are right there to answer them. On your invitation tell your neighbors to dress up festive, doesn't mean they have to look like a movie star or anything, just a simple clothing article that is red or green or any type of holiday decoration on it.
