The Love That Makes Us
Love Poem
I touch the wavy pleats
Of your long golden skirt
The golden band of lightning winding
The subtle curve of your crimsom sleaves
Your long silky tresses reflects the stars
Like a still Kuttanadan lake in moonlight
The blushed nose and cheek
Like bunches of roses in riot
Bathed in morning sun
In your quivering full lips
Twilights of a thousand springs blooming
The deep mysterious ocean of your eyes
Brimming with the endless stream of life
Your deep navel where whirling galaxies
Merges in the eternal ebb of enlightment.
And your soft sweet tender heart
Where snowy doves perching
After dreamy flights of fantasies
Where passion, beauty and love
Dances in cosmic rythm, singing lifesong"
