There is real life and then there is reality television. In real life, love takes time. Is it possible to put a man in a room with 25 strangers and have him find his soul mate? Yes, it is possible, but is it probable? The whole concept of "The Bachelor" is like a dating show on speed. In eleven seasons there is only one gleaming example the show can point to as a success story. They highlight the marriage of Trisha and Ryan however, she was a former reject.

Real love is about chemistry, compatibility and some common tie that forms a bond. A wife is supposed to be for life, as a man who obviously wants one mate-Brad followed his heart. He cared about two women but loved neither. Is that so hard to understand? The entire time cameras and people are standing around; a couple is supposed to make the biggest decision of their lives.

The purpose of the show is supposed to be finding a mate. Why are people disappointed? Did he harm you with his decision? Is there anyone amongst us, who hasn't had a broken heart? Life does go on if you get hurt. DeAnna will survive and Jenni has already moved on.
DeAnna survived her mother's death and Jenni survived her grandmother's death. I am sure both were more hurt by the death of their loved ones than a romantic heartbreak.

Life comes with no guarantees. If you go on show looking for love, there is no guarantee that you are going to ride off in the sunset with the love of your life.

As evident by the recent arrest of Mary Delgado, sometimes what appears to be one thing may actually be another. I think her frustration of becoming engaged to a man in 2004 and still not married in 2007, hit a crisis point-and she hauled off and busted him one in the mouth.

Brad, did take the high road. He did not compromise himself or his values for the sake of what everyone else thought. He tried to please the women by trying his hardest to produce feelings that weren't there.

In the end, the show reminded me of what's really important in life. We have more important things to focus on than if a man takes a wife on television.
