10. XBox-
Many call this system simply a "Halo Adaptor" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. The XBox has a lot of great games such as Fable and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to keep gamers busy and was also a graphical powerhouse for its time.

9. Sega Dreamcast-
This system came out at a bad time and was quickly overshadowed by the Playstation 2, but it developed a nice cult following when people began to realize the quality it offered.

The graphics on this system were great for its time and 2D games such as fighting games look and run amazing on this system. Top games include the ambitious Shenmue series, the fantastic RPG Skies of Arcadia, and Phantasy Star Online, one of the first great massively-multiplayer online RPG's.

8. Game Boy Advance SP-
The original Game Boy pioneered gaming on the go and this little system made a good thing much better. The SP unit was particularly brilliant both literally and figuratively because of its gorgeous light-up screen that enabled gaming in the dark and kept the screen free of scratches while looking incredibly slick.

Plus, the gaming library was excellent with great newer games and ports of Super Nintendo and NES classics alike filling the shelves.

7. Nintendo Wii-
While this system is still new and doesn't have a ton of great games, there's no denying just how innovative and fun this system is with its motion-based controls. Nintendo used its creativity and vast resources to perfect an idea many other third-party companies had tried and they're now reaping the benefits of it at sales counters everywhere.

6. Sega Genesis-
As Sega's answer to the NES, the Genesis (specifically the early Sonic games) blew gamers away with its fast-for-its-time processing power and 16-bit graphics capabilities. The Genesis' library is stocked with classic titles in every genre.
