Delays, detours and distractions.....well, where do we begin? There will come a time, in your spiritual walk, when you will recognize the detours and distractions that the enemy uses to avert your attention away from the things that God has placed on your heart....away from destiny. If you look back on the choices that have led you to the place where you are right now, really look, you will more than likely be equipped to pinpoint his handy work.

There will come a time in your spiritual walk, when you will know that God has given you more than the ability to recognize the detours and distractions. He has equipped you with the wisdom to see the enemy coming in advance. When you realize that you can see him coming, you can wisely choose to use the weapon God has given you. That weapon is His Word.

Remember that you are on a divine mission from God, and your focus on Him will always reveal your weapon of power, over any threat designed to delay, detour or distract. It is up to you to make the decision to pay attention. When you decide to pursue those things that have been promised to you in the Word of God, you will need to pay attention.

Your deciding has power. To decide is to cut off from all other possibility. Decision sends a message out into the atmosphere that your faith in the Word of God is greater than any past fears. Fear is misplaced faith. In fear, you were afraid that God would not make good on His promise and that the enemy would make good on his threat. As long as we hold onto that perverted perception, we are like puppets in a show, waiting to be manipulated, having no power to determine our own next move. We willingly become the victim of delays, detours and distractions.

Hi John, I would love to read some of your articles. I'm sorry you don't understand what I'm talking about, but do this...read it again, and this time pay attention. As for the sentence fragments, they all make sense to me. I will pray that God opens up the eyes of your understanding, because what we don't understand, we fear. Do you understand that John? Be blessed.

John, the enemy is Satan, although I would say we can cause quite enough trouble on our own. Awesome article!

What are you talking about? Who is the enemy? Why do you use so many sentence fragments that don't make sense? Pop-up ads?

I agree that the Word of God is powerful and should be used regularly in our lives!
