There are several things to be said about the south, more specifically Alabama. First and foremost, are the people. The southern charm can warm even the most cold of hearts, as can the weather. And when you add the variable of the Gulf Coast to the already existing gentile atmosphere of this state, than what you are getting is one great vacation or business trip. So, you are looking for a city that has all of the above in it? No worries, there is one. It's called Mobile, Alabama. And it is in this quaint ocean-side city that millions of people flock to annually. There is only one problem, what hotel should you stay in? Well, I have reviewed the top three hotels in Mobile, and all of them are guaranteed to satisfy even the most peculiar tastes.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Marriott Grand Hotel. This four-star hotel is perched on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, and the hotel is also only one mile from Point Clear. This hotel offers 550 acres of moss-draped oaks that include two golf-courses, a health spa with salon and beauty services, four restaurants, and a lounge. Additional activities include a landscaped free-form outdoor pool with a waterfall and slide. And for those cooler Alabama nights, there is an indoor lap-pool. Several other amenities include fishing piers on a private beach, rental bicycles, tennis courts, boating, and more. The Marriott Grand Hotel has 450 rooms in five buildings. All rooms have high-speed Internet access for a surcharge.
