Generally, these bed and breakfasts are large, historic homes that are privately owned. These owner's open their home to visitors and offer meals and a private place to stay. The personal attention you can get from a bed and breakfast can't be matched by any hotel.

Known as the 'Mountain State', West Virginia prides itself on its culture and wildlife. White water rafting and skiing are two of the most popular attractions West Virginia offers. People visit from all over the country to enjoy these activities. Parks, state forests, and fishing sites are also available throughout the state. Just pick your activity and locate a nearby bed and breakfast. You'll be glad you did.

If you are interested in visiting Harper's Ferry, consider a stay at the Thomas Shepherd Inn. They are in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and are just minutes from Harper's Ferry. That area is also known for the many fairs and festivals that take place throughout the year.

Thanks for reading. The reason I didn't list these is because they tend to change at different times per year. Also, a b & b may have different rates for different rooms, depending on the room's amenities. Generally they can range from $75 to $300 per day
