Tonight on the USA network, Vince McMahon and the rest of his family, except for Linda celebrated the huge success on Monday Night Raw! And they had a reason to celebrate with now doubt. Tonight marked the 15th anniversary of the network television show RAW. Whether you like the man or you hate him, Vincent Kennedy McMahon has been doing something right all along to achieve this unmatched success.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) which was originally known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) started airing on prime time television as a small budget show coming from the ball room at Madison Square Garden on Monday January 11, 1993 at 9pm EST. 758 episodes an over 1,600 hours of broadcast later the RAW show is still the longest running prime time drama in television history and shows very little signs of slowing down that pace any time soon.

Tonight's special three hour broadcast will be a night to remember. We are told that we will see a reunion of many of the greatest wrestling talents of all time that made this company the success that is has become today live on television. The most memorable of these superstars is Hulk Hogan!

There has never been a drama television series that has ever lasted so long as the WWE has and there is little chance that any one will any time soon. Achieving this level success was not easy for this professional wrestling organization to do. The WWE was the first wrestling company to get into prime time television. Shortly thereafter, rival company World Championship Wrestling (WCW) which was owned by Ted Turner. These two brands got involved in each others shows to try to put the others out of business in what became a time period known as the "Monday Night War." After a few years, WCW was in such bad shape that the WWF chairman's son Shane McMahon bought the WCW brand and put them out of business. In the last two years the bigger stars from WCW and several of the older talent from the WWF have formed another wrestling organization called Total Non-Stop Action (TNA). Despite the presence of the best of both companies now battling them for ratings, the WWE still stands strong in their 15th year!
