The Arizona Indian Festival
The Arizona Indian Festival will take place from January 18-20, 2008 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. This festival will consist of Indian tribes and nations joining together to celebrate. The tribes and nations that will be attending will be made up of the 22 federally recognized tribes and nations located in Arizona. The festival is a cultural celebration. Visitors to this festival will be able to witness the different Indiana tribes and nations' cultures such as the native dances, foods, music, among others. Also, visitors will be able to shop and buy original and authentic pieces of Indian art, as well as crafts. This event is being hosted by the Arizona American Indian Tourism Association (AAITA). If you want to attend the festival you must buy a ticket. Tickets for adults cost 8 dollars, children (12-18 years old) will cost 5 dollars, and tickets for seniors (55 years and older) will cost 5 dollars.
