Ranking Pixar's Best Feature Films

Before I became a writer I wanted to be a 3D Animator. I loved video games and animated movies. I got a degree in 3D Animation and later decided it wasn't really what I wanted to do. I still enjoy animated movies as much as ever,
which means I'm a huge fan of the best animation company in movies, Pixar.

I decided to do the nearly impossible of task of ranking all of Pixar's feature films from worst to first. The task is nearly impossible because there are no bad movies on this list. Even my article ranking Jennifer Connelly's movies had a bad movie or two on it, but not this list.

8. Finding Nemo
Finding Nemo was a huge hit but it's my least favorite Pixar feature film. If I was judging by animation alone then Finding Nemo would be much higher, possibly first, but I just wasn't into the rest of the movie. The story was pretty unoriginal and though Ellen Degeneras was great, the two main characters were very boring.

7. A Bug's Life
The bad news is that A Bug's Life is close to being my least favorite Pixar feature film. The good news is that A Bug's Life was much better than the other insect related animated movie that year, Antz.

6. Cars
Cars is a movie that took me totally by surprised. The trailer looked absolutely dumb and I can't stand Larry the Cable Guy. I put off seeing Cars for an entire year because I dreaded watching it but eventually I have to see every Pixar movie. After finally seeing Cars I was surprised to find it was one of my favorite movies of the year and Larry the Cable Guy was the main reason it was good.

5. Ratatouile
I found the story in Ratatouile to be a little absurd. I realize it's an animated movie so it's not supposed to be something that would happen in real life but a rat controlling a cook by pulling his hair is even more absurd than talking toys or monsters that live in the closet. But once I got about 30 minutes into the movie it was good enough that I forget about how ridiculous the plot is.

I am going to disagree with you: I agree with your list in the reverse order (I am not crazy about Toy Story); and I loved Shrek, Shrek2 and Shrek3!

I loved Cars, but then again I love Larry the Cable Guy. Pixar has had some great movies.
