The Bush Rogue's Gallery, Part II
Ken Adelman
If there is one phrase you really would never want to hear applied to you, don't you think that "close friend of Donald Rumsfeld" would be near the top? Ken Adelman was quick to bring out the "I told you so" defense following the quick victories in the early days of the invasion of Iraq.
Following Dick Cheney's statement that Saddam Hussein without a doubt has massive stockpiles of WMDs (you do remember Cheney's big fat lie about dem dere WMDs don't you?) Ken Adelman wrote a now infamous op/ed piece about how America was facing an imminent threat apparently not far off from Hitler overrunning the cheese-eating surrender monkeys. Haven't heard much from Mr. "I told you so" so allow me: We told you so you freakishly ugly f&#k.
Michael Hayden
Mr. Cocky. Hayden's clueless confidence is almost on par with that of Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld and Rice. Just as those four honestly believe they are incapable of doing any wrong, so was Hayden utterly convinced that invading Iraq would result in a "just war" that involves an acceptable amount of justifiable causalities. By the way, just in case you couldn't guess from his cocksure belief that certain deaths are acceptable, Mr. Hayden is a dedicated Catholic. Just goes to show that maybe an atheist is a better choice to head head up the NSA; after all, I never heard an atheist spouting the militant idiocy associated with the Catholic doctrine of a just war.
